MISSION
JDC Construction is a family based, remodeling company that exists to bring glory to God by improving the lives of our clients and our employees. JDC Construction constantly strives to update and improve our skills, knowledge and systems in an effort to achieve a quality of work and service that is unsurpassed in Southeast Indiana and Southwest Ohio. We continue to provide our clients with the professionalism and quality they desire while providing employees with the opportunity to obtain their own personal goals.
Our attention to detail in every aspect of the remodeling process – from an accurate proposal to a clean job site and flawless completed project – differentiates JDC Construction from its competitors, allows for minimal intrusion upon the day-to-day lives of our customers and insures that all of our projects are completed to the highest standards.
HISTORY
Founded in 1996, JDC Construction quickly developed the reputation for being one of the most professional full-service residential remodeling firms in the area.
President Jason Cox combines his passion for transforming older homes into beautiful new living spaces with respect for the good business practices necessary to manage a smooth running, timely remodel. A Construction Technology graduate from Northern Kentucky University, he understands that accurate estimating and professionalism are important in completing truly successful projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Jason Cox is a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR). This designation from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) is currently held by only about 1,000 contractors nationwide. A CGR is required to meet prescribed standards of business practice, possess a minimum of five years remodeling industry experience, have a proven track record of successful project management, complete a comprehensive education curriculum and pledge to uphold the program’s code of ethics. Vice President, Lisa Cox, is currently working towards earning her CGR designation.
Jason and Lisa Cox, are both Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS) and Certified Green Professionals (CGP). The CAPS designation is the result of the NAHB working with AARP to ensure that older Americans can stay in the homes safer and longer. The NAHB also found it necessary to add energy efficiency to the building industry and developed the CGP designation as a result.
